Amen, fren. God in Jesus is the Truth, the Way, the Life and the Light. How can adhering to all things good and beautiful in Creation be inhibition or slavery? It cannot and it isn't! But, and this is not direct Scripture, "in the End, truth will be lie and lie will be truth" or something along that line. That's why They tell you to be promiscuous and cool and trendy! To turn you away from God and Jesus Christ!
Keep the faith, stay true to the Covenant even if you struggle every day. I know i do. I now understand the deeper message of Berserk! as well. Keep struggling, fellow Strugglers!
