I do wish to marry one day, i am not in permanent celibate. I am just fighting the spiritual battle to *stay* in voluntary celibate until i find the right woman, at the right time. But thank you for giving me proof that i am on the right path. Haven't finished the Good Book yet, it's pretty heavy content for a new convert.

Makes me happy to hear that you're recently saved. Get in the habit of reading the Bible daily, I like to do the proverbs for the day, a psalm and a couple pages of the new testement. I dip into the old testament when I'm feeling up for more of a history lesson. Remember it is the Holy Spirit that works through us for sanctification, not our own effort (works). Cheers

I was thinking full read-through front to back first, then maybe buying individual books for psalms and prayers but right now i bounce off at Moses 1 and get sent back to "In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth [...]" 😭 Eff ADHD! It's fine, i just need to push through and get hooked! I'm still trying to do this all by myself, staying away from churches and steeples but i wouldn't mind a bible buddy who helps me read it in person.
