This price is based on if each person eats the recomended serving size, when in reality most people double the amount. It's also using the most basic recipies with slop ingredients so increase the price even further for quality food.

Yeah. I saw a Target ad that said feed a family of 4 for only $20. Shit was canned gravy and boxed stuffing.

They play games with inflation using the basket of goods. Our grandparents would have have had beef, raw milk and eggs. Now they exclude those and do cereal, jewed milk, and poptarts. They are most likely playing the same games with thanksgiving.
