It’s literally what I thought it was, and worse than you probably think:
> Without the use of high-tech supplies, Shokunbi created the air filter using a box fan, four furnace filters, duct tape and cardboard. After sending the filter out for testing, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave the device a 99% efficiency rate.
Literally made a cube out of HEPA furnace filters (White invention) and stuck a box fan (White invention too) on top blowing out. Secured it using cardboard and duct tape. This receives national coverage, praise, and 11.5 million.
> “A lot of people, they don’t realize sometimes that the only thing standing between them and getting sick is science,” Shokunbi said.

She did not invent that design either, it has been around for decades.
By the way, you can make a very cheap, effective air purifier for one room or small appartment with a single 20x20x4 MERV 13 furnace air filter and a box fan.
Just tape the two together ( respect the air flow arrows for the filter ). MERV 13 will remove dust, small particles, bacteria, molds, pollen and lower viral load of the room. Lower MERV ratings will filter less stuff.
Don't use 20x20x2 for a single-filter DIY model, as the air flow will be too little. It has to be X4.
You can reduce air leak by covering the ''empty'' areas in corners of the box fan .
I made one using 8 filters. When doing merv-13, the filters resist a lot of airflow to stop allergens from getting through. Yes you can use one filter, but 4 is 4x the airflow and 8 is 8x the airflow. Im sure there is a limit based on the fan's power. You can also store things inside. A sheet around it makes it no longer ugly. Extra money can buy a quiet fan.
Its a great deisgn. Far better than the $500 hepa filter. Will last much longer and has a higher cvm rating. I paid $12 per filter and $25 for the fan.

Sounds like the same kind of story as when that sandnigger kid made a clock from a clock for a science project and everyone thought it was a bomb when he brought it to school.
“Nigger invents air filtration system using only an air filtration system.”
Don't worry, it's because that's a nigger, thus the bar is so low, all they have to do is to duct tape some devices together and they'll be showered with money and praise. Only very few niggers are capable to that anyway, but there are hordes of braindead waiting for some nigger to come out and reinvent the wheel as their magnum opus.

all she did was go on youtube and copy this homemade filter fan lol. like others have said they just astroturfed the credit to her. clown fucking world. i want out of here. enough of the nigger worship
Works very well. Has been around for decades. Will remove dust from your shop, very well, for very cheap. If it's just for dust, you don't need as high as MERV 13.
Not the first time the woke falsely claim a black invented something they did not.
5 minute crafts level creativity. Everyone I knew during the crazy forest fires in Oregon put furnace filters over their window ACs to try and keep the smoke out of the house. Literally could not find filters because everyone did this.

Hey White engineers, will taping 5 HEPA filters into a cube with a typical box fan used in the empty slot for air flow still operate at 99% efficiency?
Yeah, if it’s air tight at the seams and you use something to fill the negative space in the box fan’s housing.
Okay we will make this nigro child feel like she designed something special.
Depends on airflow as well. I only have rudimentary understanding of filtration systems, but know that you design flow rates based on your filter media. Those commercial filters probably operate well over a wide flow range, though, because they're meant to be stupid-simple to use.
Search jewtube for "box fan hepa filter" and you will see this nigger's near exact design, many from years ago.
I could not find the video that proved taping a HEPA filter on a box fan rivals $800 corporation products. Anyway, I made one. It is joke easy, obviously.

Fucking hell I don’t even have words.
