I love the white race. I love the white races.

I hate the term "white" though, as it seems like a bland name for a diverse and beautiful people of varied colors and cultures. We are a garden in bloom, not some monolithic sheet of paper to dump into the trash and forget.

It's a perfectly reasonable and widely accepted shorthand for Caucasoid Indo-European.

I'm not going to go around saying "I love the Caucasoid Indo-European people groups". Neither am I going to list out every white ethnicity.

We don't have another viable shorthand alternative. This one can't be co-opted (as it's a literal visual description, not geographical/religious/self-identifying/etc.) and is at least mostly acceptable to say.

* Christian: Christian frequently meant White until the last hundred years or so, but that's not the case now.
* Caucasian: too broad as this counts non-whites (even jews etc. by the broadest reading)
* European: still used this way in certain countries (e.g., here in NZ you'll be categorised as "NZ European" or "Other European" on the census, depending on if you were born here or not), but the media otherwise tells us [anything counts as 'European' now](https://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/graphics/europe-immigration-muslim-refugees-portraits).
* Aryan: reeeee, only Hitler says that! // You are not Aryan, sar! Do not redeem!

etc.
