It's not just traffic either, the whole bugman society is full of these sorts of insurance scams. They have these spit wars, because apparently you can't punch someone, that's illegal.

But you can spit on them, it's a (((technicality))), so they spit at each other then they lay down on the ground screaming in pain, faking injuries in a way that would make the average professional soccer player green of envy.

Nobody dares to interfere when anything happens out of fear of scams, even when someone legit needs help nobody cares. It's a disgusting society and bugmen really are the jews of Asia.

Isn't it already like this tho? A lot of cases, especially those involving bicycles seems to blame the cyclist. They're written off as accidents and you as a driver barely pay anything.

But if the person you ran over survives, they sue you, and you'll cover their medical expenses if you lose.

China for being a communist country, ironically doesn't have any public healthcare, it cost a lot, probably even more expensive than the US as most people in China are much poorer. Their justice system is different too in regards to blame, I'd guess they have automatic blame for the driver, or the pedestrian, whichever CCP feels like for the moment while in the US every case goes to trial and there's some justice at least.
