And of course the top comment is muh hecking fictional characters

And then there is this

https://old.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/1glkm5y/what_is_going_on_with_masculinity/lvxlkne/

Number one is a faggot who bought his way into politics

Then a narcissistic pseudointellectual communist male feminist with a shitty web comic

Third is an even shittier web comic

Then an elderly subversive kike who was so bad at communism that while traveling around espiusing the benefits of communism at communes he kept getting told to leave the communes because he wasn't being a real communist and expected to just talk about communism and considered that to be sufficient labor to benefit from communism, you know like how communism always works with the kikes having slaves to do everything.

Then a fucking youtuber.

All so very masculine.

Then of course soi wars, and not the original but the prequels.

The thing about that top comment is, he's not wrong. There are no more Aragorns or Samwises. In media there is nothing but gay men and masculine, obnoxious women. Outside of media, they system is trying to mold them into those same faggots.

>Samwise is a good man in fiction because he never does anything to announce his masculinity— it comes out through his values. He defends Frodo not because that’s what a man would do, but because he has a deep personal connection to his friend and to the values they share. It comes off as an example of positive masculinity simply because he happens to be a man. If Samwise were a woman, those actions would come off as positive femininity. What I’m saying here is that the gender is not actually of any consequence whatsoever, it is simply the result of our natural imperative as humans to assign category wherever possible and thus create a more navigable mental map of our living experience.

JFC. The thesis of that whole post is that *masculinity means believing there is no such thing as manhood.*
