Yes it was done, and hopefully is done.

The advantage we should take from this is tribing and preparing now.

If he stops people from being born in the USA to get automatic citizenship unless they are born to citizens like he says, that is a big win.

If things get better with some of his policies that we support, then its easier to teach others

Stopping it from getting worse is a step in the right direction, but to fix the problems it's caused is going to require the greatest effort in human history to identify, round up, and deport tens of millions of people. Even if Trump had the full support of the federal and state governments and a citizenry backing the decision is would be a massive undertaking that would demand his full attention. But of course, he doesn't have that. Every step of the way is going to be obstructed, and if another Democrat gets in four years from now everything will be reversed. To have any meaningful impact, Trump is going to have to be the fascist dictator the left keeps screaming he is, and unfortunately he isn't.
