When I was 19 and long before I *started noticing*, I dated a girl whose mother is jewish. One day, the three of us were walking through the local mall and I had extra pennies in my pocket I didn't want and was curious to see how far I could get one to roll so I tossed it and it rolled probably 75ft before it curved into the wall. My girlfriend's mother was startled by what I had done and started chasing after the penny!
At the time, I thought it was hilarious. But when I look back at the moment now, I realize there really is something different ingrained in them and not in a good way.
