We're really lucky to live at a time where medical advancements mean that nearly any ailment you have can be treated or managed, if diagnosed early enough, and many ailments can be prevented outright. And yet as if to compensate for this, we're drowning in carcinogens and various chemicals that promote various diseases. They're in our food, our water, our construction materials, our clothes, etc. Not to mention the fact that we're blasted by several different wavelengths of electromagnetic energy from literally every direction all day long, which is something no human was subject to a hundred years ago. I don't want to get into the 5G argument because I think it's fearmongering bullshit, but I also really don't think we fully comprehend what all these radio waves are doing to our bodies longterm.

This is all to say, of course the Amish are healthy. They get all the health benefits of the modern world (since they do see doctors and go to the hospital when needed) while getting very few of the drawbacks.

That's what I've always thought. AM, FM, RF, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and satellites; we're bombarded by EMFs all day from every angle. Our bodies cannot possibly adapt fast enough for these to have no effect. We're mostly electrically charged beings of water. Do we really think all this radiation isn't affecting us?
