He also has been proven to be a blusterer and failed to begin any new wars term one (and de-escalated many of the old ones), so its more than likely he's attempting to scare the middle east into not killing each other, without realizing that the fake and gay state of israel is the cause of all the instability.

This is exactly it. He wants peace and the easiest way for an empire to wrangle people abroad is by flexing and firing some warning shots. Trump is an attention whore who wants everyone to love him. If Iran backed down and there was a de-escalation in the region he'd be singing the praises of every leader in the area for making what he sees as the right decision.
The most correct decision would be to bomb Israel ourselves but no one wants to hear that.
