What's funny is how that sub had to make a rule to "deface" the right wing memes because, you know, they're sooo bad and unfunny that people were reposting them.
The Salem Witch Trials were literally the result of some effete and spoiled women attempting to take out their rivals by falsely accusing them of witchcraft. Of course, modern leftists claim that the Witch Trials were the result of Christianity and completely ignore the whole part where it was weak men failing to keep their women in check.

That's exactly it. They're basically doing voodoo.
This; they believe they're transferring all of their sins for the year into the chicken, and then they torture and kill the poor chicken for being "guilty" of those sins.
Its a diabolic corruption of Old Testament Animal Sacrifices (where the victims were either killed humanely and then eaten by the priests, or let back out into the wild after the sins of the community were symbolically transferred on to them). Nowhere in the Old Testament does it mandate such a cruel form of animal abuse, and its actually impossible to perform the OT sacrifices because of the lack of a Temple (and the fact that Jesus' death on the cross and daily sacrifice in the Eucharist is the only sacrifice that can actually atone for sins).
Honestly Kapparot would probably redpill lefties since if theres one thing they hate its animal abuse.
