No. That is the daughter of the guy they killed. Where ever there is a racial murder, the DOJ sends in a special division called the Community Relations Service. They set the temperature of how the crime will be handled from a "community relations" perspective. For white families, this entails arranging for a family member to make a public announcement disavowing racism. Presumably they are told that it is their responsibility to do so in order to prevent "extremist violence".
