Not sure these should be paired like that. God still "has a plan" for Satan (Revelation 20), but it's a very unpleasant end. One can believe God's wrath will be poured out on Israel nationally (Christ said they would be judged harshly for rejecting Him), and yet not support the political entity calling itself Israel.

I think the reason He is allowing them to continue the Israel scheme is the same reason He allowed Pharaoh to continuously harden his heart. He is setting them up to fail, because they have chosen to rely on their own strength instead of God, and if theres one thing God absolutely despises, its arrogance.
