I have my Infantry tats. They're identifiers, blood type, name, that sort of thing. And then unit. That's from a different era though. Now people get tattoos without earning them. I worked with someone that got a tattoo of a crescent wrench on their arm. Dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Tattoos indicate low aversion to risk, a high time preference, and controlled pain as a habitual source of dopamine. These are all consoomer personality traits.
Because of tattoo normalization, tats are increasingly poor indicators. There are more people than ever who don't fit the stereotype, and just want cool body art like their friends.
Of course, the ultimate consumer DEFINITELY has tattoos.
For men they used to indicate being in a group with power (either criminal force or wealth). Now every idiot has one, but the idiots tattoos are always some goy slop shit that immediately outs them. I love women being able to have them, best crazy detector that exists.
Just an all around gross individual
