One of the biggest shatterings of illusions is realizing just how awful the "greatest" generation really was. Not just for WWII but also for all the shit they voted in in the following decades. They're legitimately worse than the boomers.
I don't think enough emphasis is placed on the kike grift that was NASA. "We went to the moon, I saw it on the TV, back when we bought our first tube television. Blurrily. How many endless billions of dollars did they steal, and continue to steal, based on the charade of space travel. A billion dollars is a lot of money, just think about it.
