Ironically enough, they discuss this in their podcast and said Christians need to listen to the Bible more and test people who claim to be Christian.
I think his point stands, unfortunately. If you spend a modest amount of time studying what is considered the orthodox (non heretical) Christian doctrine, or perhaps were raised in an appropriate denomination, you can pass any test that a genuine Christian could throw at you with relative ease. If you know the right things to say and don't stray, they are duty bound to give you the benefit of the doubt until you explicitly reveal your true character. It is an ever present backdoor to subverting the Christian that is impossible to barricade unless you have an unwavering zero tolerance policy for Jews. This is impossible due to the egalitarian nature of Christian salvation. Anyone can be saved, so if they can talk the salvation talk, then again, they get that benefit of the doubt regardless of their race or background. They may be found out, but they have plenty of opportunity to do damage up until that point, as in the OP's example.
I think there are some strengths of right wing Christianity, but this is one of its biggest weaknesses in my personal opinion.
