Let's make this clear.

THE USA BEFORE WWII AND DURING WWII WAS WAY WORSE THAN THE NAZIS EVER WERE.

This is absolutely clear from the historical record.

Even if Hitler DID kill 6 million jews (which is entirely fiction), even if he was a totalitarian dictator (he was not), it was still nothing compared to what FDR actually did.

If you don't know this, you haven't paid attention to history.

They didnt tell us anything about FDR seizing gold or the forced conscriptions and silencing of dissent from anti-war nationalists like Father Coughlin. We were just given a one sided version of the Nazis during war-time (where Hitler *had* to become more authoritarian because thats what war necessitates, especially when the enemy is within), and they glossed over most of the equally authoritarian behavior in the US, with the exception of Japanese internment, which was placed at the feet of Americans being "racist". I think the biggest example of how utterly lopsided and hypocritical the US propaganda was during that war in their defense of so-called "Liberty" is the one donald duck cartoon where Donald dreams he's a laborer in Nazi Germany with a harsh work schedule and then wakes up as a "free" american, despite the fact that the american war machine was completely all consuming and Donald would definitely have had an equally harsh work schedule supporting the war effort (or simply been drafted) were he not an imaginary cartoon duck.

Post-war america is nothing more than a hypocritical pile of lies, completely at the expense of the original American Nation.

It's remarkable that the only way most people know of Father Coughlin is from histrionic analogies in the corporate media about the "danger" of AM talk radio.
