I hate my line of work and am in the process of switching. Location independence would be huge for me and the job I’m working on getting into has a good degree of that.

I drive trucks. Used to do cross country to save money for the house. Now I’m home daily driving grain

So I had 600$ to my name in 2020. By 2022 I had $40k saved and got a 20yr mortgage on a 160k house. I had my dad almost convinced to finance since then my interest wouldn’t go to (((banks))) but he wussed out last minute and I had to go through my credit union.
Damn that’s crazy.

So I would usually do from 5:00am to 5:00pm and I’d be out for about a week at a time. Then my company was cool and between weeks I could have as much (unpaid) time off between trips as I wanted. So sometimes I’d just go back out or other times I’d just say, hey I’ll be back in a week and go canoeing with my brother or something. Pretty good gig tbh

Yup, getting there. I have extended family here, made some other friends along the way. He just today, I helped chainsaw up the fallen branch that has broken off the neighbors tree
Ah that's perfect man. I'm happy to hear it. That's been the biggest obstacle I've found is trying to get extended family to see what I'm seeing about the future.
I usually just get people nodding along with climate change and economic collapse. Present them with a nice sounding alternative and demonstrate how it works through my own actions. Speaks louder than words.
I think the big issue is my extended family is relatively successful being good goys so they want to keep saving for retirement etc.
I imagine once the immigration and crime gets so bad they can't really live normally they will come around. Generally the women are more interested in what I have to say than the men. I usually just point out the invasion and the wives will start agreeing until their husbands push them back onto the plantation and start talking about voting red this election. Lol.

My wife, first born, and I moved out of the big city to a small, 99% White town in the fall of 2020. We absolutely love it out here. Our house here is about the same age is our big city house was, but double the house, double the garage, and close to 10 × the yard, for 20k less than what we got for the city house.
We did have to travel back to the shit hole city today.... to welcome our 3rd child to the family at the hospital!!!

Thank you brother, God has blessed us. Having our first child was a big driving factor in getting the hell out of dodge. My wife and I both grew up there, and it's gone through exponential growth in our life times, including all the crime and poverty that comes with.

It sounds like you've got yourself on the right track. I can only recommend, don't wait! You'll never really be ready, and you're only getting older. Kids have abundant energy, so have em while your young so you can keep up!

I need to move further out. I'm in the burbs, but the communal centers outside of church are starting to look a bit too diverse. My wife and I went on one of our bi-annual trips up to the local wal-mart for some cheap chinese junk and a bluray, and there were so many fucking pajeets I almost couldn't believe it.
I guess it's wal-mart, and I don't go often enough to notice... but there were so many of them! At one point we got trapped in a isle by a burka wearing terrorist coming down one end, and some pajeet with his 2 screaming poos from the other.
My wife and I shared a look and laughed, to which point I started loudly exclaiming *"Nah, can't get that. It's got curry in it!"* about every item on the shelf.

Oh, you get to watch yourself do it. They show you you're being recorded right on the self checkout screen. They also have a camera pointing directly down at you from above, and the attendant can run back the footage to see what you tried to steal right in front of you.

I work as a staff RN in a hospital and would encourage everyone to stay out of the hospital as much as possible. If you can have good prebirth health care and screenings for high blood pressure/infections etc and stay out of a c section ridden hospital, you'll be much better off.
