Until they are so naive to think that they will achieve anything until that happens, things will not improve. It's a toothless shark. And when they get bored, they will come after them.
Jan 6th visitors and protesters were treated (or still are?) like violent terrorists. Why? Because they were angry, naive boomers who had a little fun.
Show them teeth, teach them to fear you. This will 1. help you achieve your goals, 2. prevent them coming for you. To not go that far will lead to defeat.
