They don't just let part time volunteer guys drive the fire engines around... unfortunately. Although volunteering for your local fire department would be mighty white of you.

I once asked a national guardsmen who was in it because he liked blowing stuff up on the weekends an important question. The question was this: Do you know where the armories are, and do you know how to get in?
