I'm looking to understand Ancient Greek and Roman religion more.

Does anyone have a good list of books that describe the religions?

I absolutely hate secondary sources that are not significantly cited with primary sources. I can't stand reading some author say some sort of commanding sentence like "the ancient Greeks used to sacrifice lambs then piss on the corpses to pay homage to the Gods". If something like that is said, I want it cited with exactly what primary source was used to draw that conclusion.

Anyone have any good recommendations for books?

It can be hard to filter truth from "Woke" writing. The jews can't stand anything Christian, BC/AD was replaced by BCE/CE by jews about a decade ago. Because we're still reckoning from the birth of Christ no one noticed/cares. Works from these people will gleefully lie about how gay and black everyone actually was.

How does reading 2000 BC vs. 2000 BCE make any difference at the end of the day on my interpretation of ancient Greek religions?
