It's nonsense is what it is. That "87% miscarriage rate" was magical mythical math, along the same lines as the scam where you 'make change' for someone by throwing in random bills and throwing out numbers and then you walk away with all their money. If people had stopped having kids three years ago I think we'd have noticed.
