The market is the market. Like nature, it is cruel and objective, and those who go against the market suffer by their own hand.
Here's something very simple in business that I'm sure you will understand once you read it: Give the customer what they want.
It's really that simple. You seem to have something else you think the customer should want, but that is not what the customer wants. Well of course a person is going to fail if they take that approach.
It's like the guy who was making horse buggy whips at the dawn of the automobile complaining that people should want their high quality horse buggy whips. And they could truly have the best horse buggy whips in the world but the fact is, their customers no longer want horse buggy whips so it doesn't matter, they want a horseless carriage. You may think the horseless carriage is stupid. Doesn't matter. That is what the market wants. Ignore the market at your own peril.
TLDR: The market is not retarded. You are retarded for not listening to what the market wants.
