You're right, mostly. I'm sure there's a genetic aspect, similar to alcoholism. E.g. if a kid with little genetic predisposition for alcoholism starts consuming at a young age (e.g. Eddie Van Halen), they'll become dependent. Whereas someone with a strong genetic predisposition might have their first drink at 30 and become addicted.

That said, there's a lot of fucking sexual abuse in that community. And given that alcoholism doesn't prevent reproduction while homosexuality necessarily does, it would stand to reason that the genetic faggots are much more rare than even genetic alcoholics. And it would follow from that reason that sexual abuse at a young age (like consuming alcohol at a young age) is the more likely cause of homosexuality. And here comes the data to back that up:
