As are alcoholics. As are, arguably, all vices, because we are all creatures bound by our genetics, and we all have temptations and vices. It's the human condition. Those that indulge and refuse to practice restraint are condemned for their sins.
Anyway if you claim Levitical priesthood (or are a Jew from 3k-4k years ago), then by all means, go murder gays. But Levitical law was outmoded through the New Covenant in Jesus Christ our Lord. God was teaching self-sufficiency and morality to slaves in the days of Leviticus, and after 1-2k years, the guidance became less harsh. It's not eye for eye, tooth for tooth anymore, either.
