I came from Reddit to voat, (2014) cornholed AOU for a bit on the side. Got kicked off Saidit, bunch of fags, then went over to Upgooat, where I currently reside.

I don't even remember how, but I stumbled upon r/Coontown one day which also led me to r/GreatApes. Users like "GreatApeNiggy" and "EaglesHigh" come to mind.
Anyhow, the ban of r/Coontown led me to Voat back in 2016 and I stopped using reddit altogether shortly after that. The loss of Voat really sucked.
AOU is now active on poal.co, for those of you who didn't already know. Someone else went on to create a *spiritual* successor to Voat that has gone through some name changes over the years but it's currently called "Upgoat" though the url is https://www.voat.xyz/
