# This Weeks Discussion Theme: [Consoom Nature]( https://take.supersurvey.com/resultsQ3MI65HJE)

In this weekly we CONSOOOOOOOOOM nature. Consider this a nature appreciation thread for all things in our natural world from animals to biomes. Our world is beautiful and seeing it through a screen doesn’t do it justice.

Discussion ideas:
* Share your favorite activities to experience nature: e.g., hiking, camping, bird watching, swimming, fishing, hunting, etc...
* Share your favorite biomes or places to visit: e.g., Appalachian/Rocky mountains, Boreal/Evergreen Forest, Desert, etc...
* Share something you appreciate about nature that we have lost touch with in the suburb and city.

# Weekly Polls:
* ▶ [What do you want next week’s theme to be? (08-14)]( https://take.supersurvey.com/QLI2XY83C)◀

* [Open Response: Suggest weekly themes or provide some other suggestion]( https://poll.ly/k0URJ057Z6qG7vwKSTzV) NOTE: Have a weekly discussion theme idea? Leave it here so it can be added.

Lately I've been most interested in deserts and mountains. Bonus points for high deserts.

*Share something you appreciate about nature that we have lost touch with in the suburb and city.*

The feeling I get when I'm in nature is very hard to explain. It's a certain oneness, zen feeling I have. It's like most of the problems I have in my day to day life seem to matter much less when I'm out there.

Urban/suburban parks/trails/preserves are cool, but various things (finding trash, hearing nearby traffic, not being able to see the stars at night, et al) are more likely to occur in such places to deter the immersion.
