Christians in Medieval Japan was BAD. Not the worst but bad.

Hidoyoshi did a great job kicking out / murdering those fucktards. Identifying as a Christian doesn't automatically make you a good person and that's a huge problem Christianity have been failing to deal with for hundreds of years.
The slave trade makes me think there were crypto jews among the "Christian" missionaries (especially since they were from Spain and Portugal, countries that had made their jewish population convert to Christianity)., the fact that they were (((Jesuits))) as well just solidifies that.
Hideyoshi seems like a bad leader, particularly considering, after he died, the persecution stopped, and none of his fears materialized. I guess Spanish boat captains aren't aren't a reliable source of internal military intelligence.
