Maybe not. Arabs (Semites) like Mohammed are depicted as fair in appearance. Perhaps, before the Canaanites had overrun the middle east in the time since, Semites (or at least the Davidic Judahites) were Aryan in appearance. Remember, back at that time, Israelites were 12 (technically 13) defined tribes that discouraged interbreeding with one-another (Numbers 36:6-9). Jew was a religious and geographic term (One who lives in the Kingdom of Judea and follows the State Religion) , not an ethnic one.
