Well they were bad. The literal story of the game is that you, the player are unironically Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God himself, and you bring about Revelations, with each of the four main bad guys representing one of the Four Horsemen. Joseph Seed is the actual antichrist.

For all the shit it got it was genuinely the most Christian game that's probably ever been made.

Yeah IDK, I literally just finished the game and basically you spend the entire time shooting up mostly white, bearded Christian guys and replacing them with niggers, women, nigger women, and other liberal faggots. Yes the cult is evil and basically a leftist caricature of what they think Christians are like, but their music and their aesthetics honestly kinda slapped. I still wish someone would make a mod for this game in which the roles are reversed (i.e. Hope County is full of rainbow degeneracy and you play as a cult member taking it back).
