The primary reason they support gun control is literally just about taking petty revenge on something you enjoy. That's it. That's seriously it.
Any time a White person 'does something', you all have to come rushing in with the breathless gay defenses of how they were *tricked* or *fooled* or *manipulated* or maybe the whole thing was *all fake*. Gun ownership as a casual hobby is basically a self-regulating filter on this 'one of these days, us gun owners are gonna stop you!!!!!' shit, because they know as long as they can dangle a little goytreat of 'legal hobby shooting' around, you'll be sure to follow the little laws and be extra lawful and safe.
The left loves the Second Amendment, because it lets them legally arm their militias, and while it means you can also have a gun, they know that they're the only ones willing to use them. For all the guns and all the blither-blather and rhetoric, turns out the only American politician to get shot in the last forty years was when a Bernie Bro tried to shoot Steve Scalise.

That said, I suspect there are some "true believers" who really are paranoid about the goys having guns.

That's it. That's seriously it. They aren't afraid of you owning guns because you're an 'armed sheep contesting the vote'. They support gun control because you enjoy guns, so therefore they want to destroy something you like. If the right didn't give a shit about guns but was really super in to polearms and axes and shit, they'd be crying to ban that.
Every single thing the right enjoys (even to include MIGA) the left tries to destroy just out of petty revenge, and it's weird that nobody actually talks about that more often. In fact, every single 'conservative' commentator and podcaster just goes into their faggy-ass "MUH TYRANNY" prepared talking points to 'defend' gun ownership. And I dunno I think I'm just... fucking bored of hearing it.
Both the Republicans and Democrats have been Finkel-thinked into just running on opposition to one another, with little conception of self-interest at play in their politics. You see this with the "own the libtards by continuing mass immigration" crap going on now.
All the people in history who have used their guns for violence only see guns as tools, not toys. Threats of 'muh lawful gun owner' don't work on them because usually they're already in an illegal status by just having a gun.
Niggers that shoot people aren't gun hobbyists. They don't know how to disassemble a Glock striker assembly. They don't own 17 guns at home. You ever see a shooting where some nigger's gucci Glock with cut slide serrations and optics mounts and shit showed up?
What I mean by that is that every single time someone shows up with a gun, who has seemingly zero interest in any of the *lawful* reasons people normally own guns, that's when shit gets real. Marxists don't hunt and sit around jerking off over their collections of exotic guns. And surprise, Marxists have used their guns to shoot cops and politicians far more than the right has.
People who see guns as just a tool for change are the ones most likely to use it when they have it, not the ones writing faggy little opposition letters to ATF rule changes that get laughably ignored literally 100% of the time and then going 'well maybe the based niggerino on the supreme court will save us!!!' They know that latter group will comply like the fucking sheep they are.
Nothing sums up the fucking cucked gun ownership of America more than the fact that every redneck is going to tattoo MOLON LABE around their assholes, but they also make sure they're extra careful to follow NFA regulations.
