I'm sure they still take credit for the "donation" and use it for tax writeoff purposes, just like my scumbag college did with books they wouldn't buy-back since there's a new version out (that changes like one sentence on one page). Just drop the non-damaged book we should have given you $100 for in this big box so we can donate it and get all the tax/perception benefits!

So it's like an "honor" system, but th' jew gets th' credit and some extra shekels skimmed off th' top, and th' only reason it still offers free bagels is because there arent yet enough freeloaders in town that will barge in saying "GibsMeDatForFree!", and thus, jew still gets to skim shekels off th' top of th' "donation" tab.
