The funniest thing is that I just climbed a mountain, a very famous trail that more than a hundred thousand climb each year, and I saw one nigger. He was alone, spoke to nobody, and just seemed to be utterly self-loathing. People generally spend time at the top. He did not. I have to think he got up there, felt nothing, and just walked away knowing he could never be White.
