I mean Sunday observance is a great way to reset priorities and recognize that consumerism and grind are not the ultimate value. But getting secular institutions to enforce a religious practice perverts the religious practice, and Jesus was clear how he felt about enforcement of Sabbath standards. The Sabbath was made for man not man for the Sabbath. Each man gets to dictate the observance of his Sabbath. God gave man good guidance on how he should best observe Sabbath for his benefit. But it is not the place of man to dictate to man how it must be observed, esp. not from godless hypocrites from the government.

Really. The ancients gave new meaning the the phrase "dawning of the Age of Aquarius." But they are ancient. How would they give new meaning to a phrase?
