Quadrant cycling is best. Most crops leech the land dry. Beans and peanuts and legumes are nitrogen fixers. Sheep or goats are excellent small space animals for cycling.

If you have 10 acres you can cycle 2 acre plots, while having 2 acres of orchard/perennial/pond/homestead space.

Microstates work. Your problem is thinking TOO MUCH. you want to make a Microstation with all kind of moral laws and etc? Go for it. Do not try to dictate what the system of microstates gets to be with said morality. The only laws that should be overarching are defined borders (size limitations), and a non aggression/mutual defense pact. That's it.

What happens when the majority of the wards gets subverted and decides to not allow "deplorables" who don't accept their views to trade and banish those wards? What happens when the "society" decides your use of the "tech" isn't acceptable and removes your ability to communicate?
 
What happens when people decide your system is broken and create their own wards and agora and your "society" gets mad and decides that's not ok?

Your hopes and desires are good. Your execution is flawed in a LOT of ways and it won't work the way you want it to, and you will make new laws and patch the boat as best you can, clinging to thag vision, until a generation later you are left with an unrecognizable mess.
