So apparently "år" (year) is pronounced like English "or" and "är" (is) is pronounced like English "air"? Do I have that right? If they're pronounced that differently, it's less silly I guess. At first it seemed like in English where we sometimes write "had had", with the first one meaning in the past and the second one meaning possessive.
