yeah it ain't wrong to say that they've both strayed... but to be honest, orthodoxy does end up better. when i first moved back to Romania the local priest came to visit and the conversation naturally ended up about the western country i was in - he was very shocked and displeased to hear about all the sodomites and satanism going on.

is that because orthodoxy is more steadfast about Christianity, or is it because it just happens that the cultures around orthodoxy are themselves less destroyed? or is it that those two are reinforcing each other? i don't know, and i think it's probably pedantry to argue one way or the other.

that being said, i still don't go to church because i don't like kissing pictures.

Orthodox allowed non-Whites in the Church even before Catholicism. So no, they don't "do it better."
