God sent the Jews a new Prophet every 300-500 years. Then Christ came and announced Himself as the last Prophet. They murdered Him and they haven't declared a new Prophet since. Not one. What happened? What does that tell us?

They realized this around the 1300's ... *God doesn't speak to them anymore.*

We are God's Chosen now, those who surrender to Christ:

> Now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you. (Galatians 3:29)

> Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God. From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen. (Galatians 6:15-18)

God knows how weak and petty the Jews are as a people. They have always betrayed Him:

> And the Lord said to Samuel, *“Listen to the voice of the people [Jews] regarding all that they say to you, because they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them. Like all the deeds which they have done since the day that I brought them up from Egypt even to this day—in that they have abandoned Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you as well.* ..." (1 Samuel 8:7-8)

The Jews are incapable of lifting their eyes up to Heaven because they're so transfixed on the petty perversions of this Earth.
