I drove a variety of electric forklifts including loading palettes on trucks, using the palette scales, and a sideways job that could pick palettes of the top warehouse rack 20+ feet above.

no one was certified. we were all temp labor and no one ever asked. my supervisor went out to his truck to get drunk every lunch break.

no one ever got hurt although I wouldn't exactly call it a safe workplace without close calls.
