Orchestras at Auschwitz did not play “while men, women, and children were marched to their deaths”. Their main job was to play when columns of prisoners walked out to work and marched back to the camp

That's right. The Nazi's put together entire Orchestras just to march people to and from work. Or.. wait.. according to the museum itself.. the prisoners _requested_ to create the orchestra. They asked their families (?) to mail them their instruments at the camp so they could play. They played _so good_ the SS used to go to their concerts.

It's hilarious that the old school lies are just embarrassing now and so they have to slightly manipulate them in order to keep the core lie alive.
