That's what I'm saying the welfare should be for, your part time job doesn't pay enough and there are no other work prospects so you get welfare.

Yeah, that way they aren't worthless sacks of mostly water and actually earn their keep. There are plenty of jobs that need to be done but can't pay a livable wage, that doesn't mean these jobs don't need to be done, someone's gotta do it, so that's where welfare steps in.
