I once worked way out in the bush and started bargaining with a crow. He would bring me things and if I liked them I would give him ever increasingly better rewards. One day he brought me an old quarter from 1944 when they used silver and I really like it so I gave him some raw steak which he loved.

Point is, at the time I thought that bird was a genius. As far as birds go, he was. That doesn’t mean it’s genius when applied to people of which niggers are not. So him being impressed by this makes sense.
