BS. There's only 4 time zones in the contiguous US states with a maximum difference of 3 hours. Big whoop.

You've never had to go from a morning shift to nights? You have never done Eastcoast work on the Westcoast? 6am or 3am I am 2 different people depending on the TIMEZONE. I am speaking from a corporate slave waggie view.

I don’t know “why” they’re created, but all I know is maintaining a common time frame for different positions of the sun seems pretty rational.
I don’t want 8AM to be sunrise in CST and then 8PM in KST.
