I’m embarrassingly weak, but it feels good man.

However, I do wish there weren’t so many minorities and whores there. No one wants to see or smell that.

Edit because I keep seeing this comment:

I cannot get a home gym or exercise to the fullest at home. I’m in a small apartment on the third floor and I’d rather not be jumping and bothering my neighbors.

Bouncing around? There shouldn't be any of that with strength training.

Shoulders: Dumbbell press

Triceps: Handlebar dips

Biceps: Curls

Chest: Push ups

Lats: Ring rows

Abs: Weighted crunches

Legs: Goblet squats

All completely silent movements unto themselves.

Plyometrics are a great addition to any work out. I like to start with some cardio and then do weight training. Jumping squats and lunges are killer. I’m a woman if that makes a difference. We exercise very differently from men.

Heck, cardio doesn't need the gym either. Running and cycling are popular; I do shadowboxing, which is another silent and stationary option. If you prefer explosive training with jumping exercises like that, you can just go to the park instead of the gym (Disclaimer: I don't know if that would be better or worse demographically,) and do the rest of your exercise there as well. I did this while homeless.

You'll do you, but for my money I see no reason a gym is *needed* for anyone other than those who require it for full on bodybuilding rather than general fitness or functional strength.

Believe me, I would if I could. But my husband doesn’t like me going places alone. Especially if my awareness is compromised by focus on the workout. Also, it can’t get pretty cold here, and I’d prefer to have a regular regiment that I can stick to
