I think there was some serious desperation during Lockdowns for literally anyone to stand up and say "Nope, this whole situation is fucked" and people like Tom McDonald swooped in.
All of the "rebellious" and "edgy" musicians, talking heads, and influencers were going full bore in favour of societal suicide, at the time, which I think has a lot less to do with human nature and much more to do with them getting successful on a counter-culture message and then getting bought by Jew producers.
