What is the purpose of a temple? What happens in them?

*Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?*

Place your sin upon the alter, which is your heart, and destroy it as a holocaust. Give praise to the Great God who created you and all things. He alone is God of gods, the Great God of Heaven whom the pagans speculated about, the Holy one who wrought from nothing even the elements themselves.

Technically, our offering is the Eucharist, the most perfect sacrifice, because nothing less than God Himself can atone for our sins.
