I used to use this. It's an interesting concept and the interface is pretty well implemented. But it's definitely a for-profit tech company. Their "opinion spectrum" basically exposes you to everything that mainstream individualist/liberal human rights enthusiasts have to say, as well as everything that mainstream social justice/equity human rights enthusiasts have to say. The vast majority of their voices would share opinions about the usual democracy/human rights shibboleths: the justification of WWI and the intrinsic guilt of nationalism, the divine treason of slavery in America that is sacrosanct and can never be underplayed, the backwards and inexcusable racism of White people wanting living together in White societies, how autarkic/ethnic regimes uniquely commit indefensible crimes against humanity (even stupid nigger ones like Syria or Libya or Belarus, but nobody else ever ever ever), you get the idea. It's basically just several hundred Visa-approved corporate journo new sources. But they are trying to run an online startup and I don't exactly blame them.
That said it's probably the best mainstream news source out there, since you get a really good picture of what the Overton window currently is, if you're curious about that. It's gotten real popular, I think a lot of Youtubers shill for it lately.
