You don't even like kids. You think they would bring you down. You don't have the time for them. Don't have the energy. Nor the money...

Whatever the reason may be...

I have news for you. After 40 you are irrelevant. Other than maybe to your circle of friends, your opinion no longer matters.

You're mind is made up. You're baked goods. Unflinchingly setting forth upon your twilight decades. Closing out the century. Getting old and hard to look at.

But there is one exception.

Your kids. To them you are everything, smart, clever, fun, exceedingly handsome. A knockout when it comes to life. A mentor. A Dad.

Not having kids means you'll turn 50, or even 60 and realize, you haven't been relevant for years now.

Say No to Not having Kids.

Say Yes to kids.

Im glad the legal system has been kind to you to get your children. It seems nowadays no matter what the circumstances, fathers never see their children again.

The legal system is changing, and it's changing because fathers are fighting back in ways that they weren't before.

The data is in -- children raised by single fathers have outcomes no worse than children raised with both a mother and father in the home. *Divorce* isn't the problem for the kids, *fatherlessness* is the problem. And the system will slowly catch up to the data.

More and more states are changing their laws and norms -- 50/50 is becoming the default (which I had until the court could be convinced that my ex-wife was nucking futz) and alimony being phased out.

The correct answer is not and never has been to opt out because it was unfair. The correct answer is to take the risk, fight back and show the system that everything feminism has said about men is wrong.

There's still a long way to go but things are moving in the right direction, and it's our responsibility as men to keep it going.

This is so heart-warming.
On behalf of your children, thank you for fighting for them. My father did not and selfishly just got himself as far away from my crazy mother as possible. I have forgiven him and we are on better terms now, but taking the easy way out made my life so much worse in almost every way.

What about your crazy mother? She gets a free pass for chasing your father away?
