That would be the part where he said it was his blood, but it's not literally blood. Not only can literally every one of us know this by tasting the wine (or grape juice, as the case may be), but if it were literally true that wine became blood and bread became flesh, that would be cannibalism! Throughout the Old Testament, cannibalism is represented as a dreadful curse, an awful consequence received by rebellious jews at their worst, and this is highly incongruous with Jesus' message in the Lord's supper, which is one of a blessing.

Almost everything you consume has some sort of negative effects on your body. Most vegetables (specifically the cruciferous ones) have anti-nutrients that are technically toxic for humans. I’m not downplaying the toxins in alcohol. I’m very well aware. I have family members who are bit dependent on the stuff. I’m just trying to say that I’ve seen people being shamed for drinking at all.
Alcohol is a big part of white culture, specifically wine and beer. So why all the hate?
If it were truly poison, it wouldn’t be part of the Holy Eucharist and Paul wouldn’t be recommending it to Timothy.
Find a local winery or brewery or distillery. Befriend them. They make good stuff. A lot of the distilleries in my area are surprisingly based.
It's not wine at that point.
Point to me in the Bible where Jesus says it's a symbol of His blood?
Go ahead.

It is drunkeness that is considered degenerate behaviour, not wine itself.
